How does the electronic leak detection process work?
We use two primary methods:
Low-voltage ELD
A low-voltage field is applied to the roof while a conductive medium (like water or saline solution) is spread over the surface. Breaches in the membrane allow current to flow, which our detector uses to spot the leak.
High-voltage ELD
A high-voltage probe creates an electric field over the roof. When the probe passes a defect, the field completes a circuit with the conductive substrate below, pinpointing the leak’s exact location.
Once any leaks are found, we mark the areas and recommend the best solution based on your needs and budget.
